About this event

Teens explore international Thanksgiving-inspired dishes and cooking techniques. In this hands-on class for ages 12–17, students travel to Canada, China, Africa and Australia to see how each celebrates the fall harvest through food. The menu includes Canadian poutine, a Chinese five-spice chicken and squash stir-fry, an Australian sweet potato and chickpea salad, and South African malva pudding.

Saturday, Nov. 14, 1–3 p.m. (about two hours). The cost is $65 per teen. Classes must be paid for in advance, and a spot is not guaranteed until payment is received. The school will try to accommodate allergies if given advance notice. Visit lpscinc.com for details.
