Mentor’s annual Just Kids’ Stuff Garage Sale lets families shop or sell outgrown clothes, toys and baby gear at the Mentor Community Recreation Center — 6000 Heisley Road today from 9 a.m. to noon.
Residents can reserve a table for sellers for a small fee.
🎭 Culture
Mentor City Council awarded a $1.1 million construction contract to Freedom Construction Services to upgrade accessibility at Wildwood Cultural Center.
The project is set to complete in spring (2027) and will add accessible restrooms, entrance, ramps, and walkways to serve visitors.
🏛️ Government
Lake County completed a $1.3 million Lead Safe Ohio program on Thursday to renovate 39 properties (including homes, child care centers and congregate shelters) to reduce lead hazards across the county.
The project was funded by a 2023 state grant to help address costly safety concerns.
